Invest VND 19.5 billion to preserve cultural heritage values
In the period of 2011-2013, the province has invested VND 19.5 billion from the budget to restore and preserve cultural heritage values, such as Lieu Hanh Princess Temple, Dong Hoi rampart and relic spots in Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Park.
In order to preserve and uphold relic values, the province has decentralized management for the districts and city; speeded up work of socialization and mobilized all human resources in management, preservation, restoration and embellishment of historical and cultural relics.
With non-material cultural heritage values, the province has strengthened propaganda in the province's big programmes and festivals in order to preserve the unique character of culture of Quang Binh motherland in the new period as well as to promote cultural heritage values of the province.
