Invest 85 essential infrastructure projects in 20 especially difficult communes
(Quang Binh Website) - According to the report of the provincial People's Committee, the province have invested 85 essential infrastructure projects in the period of 2008-2013 in 20 especially difficult communes with a total expenditure of approximately VND650 billion.
In addition, 58 other projects have been invested in the fields in Minh Hoa district according to the Resolution No.30a/NQ-CP of the Government on poverty reduction support program for poor districts.
The program of supporting dwelling houses for poor households has built nearly 6,000 dwelling houses for poor households, reached 98% of the plan, contributing to improving the life for the poor and considerably reducing rate of poor households in the especially difficult communes (from 56.39% in late 2010 to 39% estimated in late 2013).
