At the working session, PPC Nguyen Huu Hoai briefly informed the Korean delegation of natural conditions, potential and strengths of Quang Binh.

Over the past time, cooperation relationship between Vietnam and South Korea in general, Quang Binh and South Korea in particular has obtained remarkable achievements. Of which, around USD3 million for the equipment supply project at the Vocational Training Secondary School and USD12 million for the solar power supply project at communes that are currently not on the national grid.

In the cooperation framework for investment promotion between Quang Binh and South Korea, the Quang Binh provincial People's Committee and DOHWA Group had a cooperation agreement to build infrastructure and economic development of Quang Binh province. Accordingly, the province is creating conditions for the Zeta Plan and Investment Company (South Korea) to conduct an investment survey of big projects in the province.

Two sides also exchanged information and discussed solutions for investment assistance for the projects using ODA loan capital from South Korea.

Speaking at the working session, PPC Chairman Nguyen Huu Hoai expressed his hope that KOICA and DOHWA Group will continue providing support for Quang Binh province to effectively exploit human resources, strengthen sustainable management of natural resources, cope with climate changes, improve traffic projects, build urban infrastructures and co-operate labor export.

The province pledges to create the best conditions for Korean businesses to invest in Quang Binh, said PPC Chairman Hoai.
