At the meeting, Ms Eri Honda, head of the project and experts presented key components of the project, including wastewater collection and drainage in Dong Hoi; invest urban infrastructure in Bao Ninh for climate change adaptation, and flood management and other infrastructures.

Total investment of the project is US$139.3 million, of which US$72.09 million for the first phase, including US$30 million loan from ADB's Ordinary Capital Resources (OCR); US$2.5 million from ADB's aid and US$39.59 million from bilateral funds.

Representatives of relevant departments and localities also discussed some solutions for investment, of which focusing on main components and financing sources.

Addressing the meeting, Standing Vice Chairman thanked ADB for assistance in implementation of the urban environment and climate change adaptation project in Dong Hoi city, hoping that ADB will increase OCR loan and bilateral funds so that the project achieves a high result.

Vice Chairman Quang said that ADB delegation and consulative unit need to adjust some contents in accordance with the locality's reality and quickly carry out the project in the lastest time.
