Passenger boat station in Phong Nha Cave

Concretely, tickets will increase from VND320,000 to VND360,000 a trip/boat for visiting a cave and VND350,000 to VND400,000 a trip/boat for visiting two caves (average increase is from VND4,000 to VND5,000 a person). This new price is applied to boats which transport from 1 to 14 passengers.

In order to solve difficulties for the owner of boat, the Provincial People’s Committee decided to provide a support for the owners of boat with the price of VND40,000/trip/boat for visiting a cave and VND50,000/trip/boat for visiting two caves. This decision will come into effect from July 1 to December 31, 2015.

The Phong Nha – Ke Bang Tourism Center is assigned to extract from fee collection for visiting Phong Nha and Tien Son Caves to support for the owners of boat.

From January 1, 2016, the Provincial People’s Committee will approve the Decision to adjust increase of fares and stop the support for boat owners.

The new price increase of ticket will be widely announced to travel agents across the country, avoiding a sharp increase of ticket to make a direct influence to business activity of travel agents.
