Quang Binh's pupils attend ''World’s Biggest Lesson''

(Quang Binh Website) - The Department of Education and Training of Quang Binh province held the “World’s Biggest Lesson” launched by UNESCO at all school levels in the whole province, namely: Hai Dinh secondary school, Duc Ninh primary school and Dong Phu secondary school (Dong Hoi city), etc.

Knowing that the “World’s Biggest Lesson” was also taken place simultaneously in all 64 provinces and cities nationwide and 50 other countries at this same time.

This activity was co-organized by the Ministry of Education and Training, the UN Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), and the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) in response to the Global Action Week for Education for All, which will take place from April 21-27.

The “World’s Biggest Lesson” set new record in the Guinness World Records with the largest number of learners, albeit in different classrooms, to be taught the same lesson at the same time.

Objectives of the “World’s Biggest Lesson” are to raise awareness about increasing access to education, information on the reality and causes of drop-out of school and to provide governments with information on the importance of quality education and practical suggestions to improve the quality of education.
