Quang Binh University won two third prizes and two consolation prizes in the 16th Competition of National Olympic Mathematics

(Quang Binh Website) - The 16th Competition of National Olympic Mathematics was taken place from April 11 - 14, 2008, in Nha Trang city, Khanh Hoa province. This competition was jointly organized by Ministry of Education –Training, Vietnam Mathematic Association, Vietnam Student Association and Naval Academy in Nha Trang.

Participating in this competition has 477 students from 56 teams of the universities and colleges nationwide. After competing in two days at two subjects of analytics and algebra, Quang Binh University's two students were granted the third prize, namely Tran Trung Chinh (analytics) and Vo Thi Thao (algebra) and other two students were given the consolation prize, namely Hoang Thi Yen and Tran Van Cuong.

The 16th Competition of National Olympic Mathematics was a good chance to select excellent students for the national team to take part in the International Competitions, and to encourage the universities and colleges in improving the quality of teaching and studying.
