Quang Binh Provincial People's Committee Works with the Delegation of Heads of Vietnam’s Overseas Representative Agencies
(Quang Binh Portal) - On the afternoon of April 2, 2025, Quang Binh Provincial People's Committee (PPC) held a working session with the delegation of Heads of Vietnam’s Overseas Representative Agencies for the 2024 - 2027 term, led by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Do Hung Viet. The delegation was received and worked with by Chairman of the PPC Tran Phong, Vice Chairman of the PPC Hoang Xuan Tan, and representatives from relevant departments and agencies.
In his remarks, the Chairman expressed his pleasure in welcoming the delegation from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to visit and work in Quang Binh, emphasizing that it was an honor for the province to be chosen as a destination for the delegation before they embark on their overseas assignments.

At the meeting, Vice Chairman Hoang Xuan Tan gave an overview of the socio-economic development situation, potential, strengths and international cooperation needs of the province in the fields of tourism, renewable energy, construction materials production industry, agriculture, etc. He also proposed that the delegation support Quang Binh province in promoting and connecting investment cooperation in areas where the province has a lot of potential and strengths, particularly in tourism, focusing on the World Natural Heritage Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Park. Additionally, he requested assistance in connecting the province with FDI enterprises and facilitating ODA projects.

During the discussion, the delegation members expressed their interest in learning more about the development plan for Dong Hoi International Airport, aiming to enhance accessibility for international tourists traveling to Quang Binh and neighboring regions; Quang Binh’s strengths and incentives for investment in industry, renewable energy, and tourism to attract potential investors.
Speaking at the working session, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs affirmed that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs would always accompany localities in socio-economic development, helping them effectively promote their potential and advantages. He also said that Quang Binh province can best exploit the tourism potential that nature has bestowed upon the province. He at the same time requested members of the delegation to pay attention to providing the best support to Quang Binh province in introducing, connecting, and finding suitable future investors in tourism, renewable energy, organic agriculture, etc.; coordinate with foreign agencies to promote OCOP products and local agricultural products in international markets.

Thanking the delegation for their attention and support, the Chairman hoped that with the prestige of Vietnam's diplomacy, Vietnam’s overseas representative agencies would continue to assist Quang Binh in accessing information, connecting with international investors, and fostering international cooperation for further development.
