Incense-offering ceremony to mark 106th birthday anniversary of General Vo Nguyen Giap
(Quang Binh Portal) - On the occasion of 72nd anniversary of the August Revolution (August 19th) and National Day (September 2nd) and the 106th birthday anniversary of General Vo Nguyen Giap (August 25th), on the morning of August 24th, the Provincial Party Committee, People"s Council, People"s Committee and Vietnamese Fatherland Front Committeee paid a visit and offered incense to the grave of General Vo Nguyen Giap in Vung Chua, Quang Dong commune, Quang Trach district.
The ceremony was attended by Pernament Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation Tran Cong Thuat; Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Truong An Ninh; Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Tien Dung together with representatives of related departments and branches.
At the ceremony, the provincial leaders solemnly burnt incense to the grave of General Vo Nguyen Giap and spent a minute's silence in memory of the General, expressing a deep gratitude to his great contributions to the cause of national revolution.
