Take homeless children to home
TT - The People's Committee of Dong Hoi city (Quang Binh province) has deployed the VND 152 mil project financed from the source of capital of the Plan Organization and the local to take 55 homeless children to their home in 2007.
Accordingly, each children will be given from VND 500.000 to VND 1 million depending on the reality of their situation, helping children and their home have a stable job at home, such as breeding, small business... As for school-age children, they will be financed books, paper and pen to help them come back to school.
In the first phase, the City took 75 homeless children to their home in the end of 2006. Most of them came from the districts of Quang Trach and Quang Ninh and earned their living by polishing shoes or selling lottery ticket in the streets.
