Quang Ninh district invests in handicraft development
(Quang Binh Website) - In the first 4 months of 2008, the Quang Ninh handicraft production value achieved VND 5,790 million, increased by nearly 22% compared with the same period.
Concretely, production value from processing industries was VND 3,978 million, increased by 31%; from production and exploitation of building materials increased by 4.5% against the same period.
Exploiting building materials, making rice vermicelli, brewing wine, producing coal and block brick are main handicraft industries in Quang Ninh district. Therefore, thousands of laborers have stable jobs, contributing to increasing income and improving the people's life in rural areas.
