Under the plan, in the first phase, the Company will invest to build a clinker producing plant with a daily capacity of 5,000 tons a day and two grinding stations with an output of a million tons of cement a year. The total investment capital for the project is VND3 trillion (US$187.5 million) and its construction is estimated to be completed within 36 months. The area under construction is 8 hectares and carried out in two phases.

This project was approved by the Prime Minister to supplement it in the Planning on development of Vietnam’s cement industry till 2020 and its orientations till 2020.

After his inspection tour of construction site, Chairman Phan Lam Phuong stressed, “This is a key project of the province. Once completed and put into use, the plant will contribute to solve jobs for hundreds of labourers and increase the province’s budget receipts. The project’s construction site is suitable, far from the residential area but near limestone mountainous region, so it is very convenient for transport”. However, he also asked the investor should check the plan to narrow the area under construction; simultaneously need to strengthen the propaganda and explanation for the people about the benefit of building the plant; call upon the assistance of all people so that the project is begun its construction as soon as possible.
