30 communes invested to rehabilitate and expand rural grid system
(Quang Binh Website) - The Second Rural Energy Project (RE II) has invested VND113 billion to rehabilitate, upgrade and expand low voltage network for 30 communes of 5 districts of Quang Binh province. Of which, Le Thuy has 7 communes, Quang Ninh 7 communes, Bo Trach 5 communes, Quang Trach 8 communes and Tuyen Hoa 3 communes.
Among 462 km of low voltage network invested by the project, 264 km has been built newly; 198 km upgraded and repaired; 24,671 watt-hour meters installed (of which 6,573 meters were installed newly and 18,098 replaced newly). Project duration has been implemented in the period 2007 to 2010. After completion, the rural grid system will be handed over the collectives to manage and use.
