Training on sustainable development and environmental protection
(Quang Binh Website) - On November 18 2008, the National Assembly's Standing Committee for Science, Technology and Environment, the Ministry of Planning and Investment, the Swedish International Cooperative Agency in coordination with the Provincial Standing People's Committee opened a training course on sustainable development and environmental protection.
At the training course, trainees were introduced about the contents relating to environmental matter, including the 2005 environmental protection law; report on environment and sustainable development; global climate change, situation of environmental pollution and its consequence to natural development and socio-economic development in the country and the world. This training course aimed at propagandizing and mobilizing organizations, units and individuals to further improve the awareness of environmental protection, balance between economic development and environmental protection and climate change.
