Number of tourists to Phong Nha - Ke Bang to increase
(Quang Binh Website) - In the past time, many important events and festivals took place in the provincial area, so the number of tourists to World Natural Heritage Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Park increased highly, according to information from the Phong Nha - Ke Bang Cultural and Ecological Tourist Center.
In the first six months of 2009, there was 60,328 tourists to Phong Nha - Tien Son Cave, of which 60,012 domestic tourists and 316 international tourists. Revenue from ticket sale achieved over VND6.2 billion, increased by 19.2% against the same period. Especially, Nuoc Mooc ecotourism route attracted 1,768 tourists with total revenue of VND84 million.
