''Cheo can, mua bong'' Festival
Attending the festival was Mr Nguyen Xuan Quang, Alternate member of the Party’s Central Committee, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of Dong Hoi City Committee of the Party; Mr Dinh Dinh, Deputy Secretary of Dong Hoi City Committee of the Party, Chairman of the City People’s Committee; representatives of the Standing Committee of Provincial People’s Council and People’s Committee and the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee together with leaders of related departments and branches.
"Cheo can, mua bong" festival is a meaningful activity to express traditional culture with distinct features of Bao Ninh people in order to pray for calm sky and smooth sea, good weather and a bumper crop.
"Cheo can, mua bong" festival is often held to celebrate the nation’s festivals and especially this is an indispensable part in Cau Ngu festival of Bao Ninh people.
