Vingroup donates VND5 billion for flood victims
Le Khac Hiep, vice chairman of Vingroup, said, “We hope our small act could help people in the central provinces of Ha Tinh, Quang Binh and others to repair the damage caused by the flood. The donation also goes with our heartfelt sympathy for people in need.”
This week Vingroup will spend the first VND1 billion for flood victims and set up two relief teams in the worst-hit provinces of Ha Tinh and Quang Binh. The rest of the money will be spent on poverty relief, farm support and house and building repairs.
Vinpearl Tourism JSC under the Vingroup also donated VND1 billion from the Miss Vietnam World pageant foundation to help flood victims. Beauties of the pageant will conduct charitable activities in some flood localities next week.
