Dong Hoi Airport: passenger carriage reaches 80% of capacity
(Quang Binh Website) - In the past time, although the Dong Hoi - Ha Noi air route has been up to seven flights a week and the Dong Hoi - Ho Chi Minh City air route has used Airbus 320 with the capacity of 150 passengers, the number of passengers has increased highly; many flights haven't been any more empty seats. On an average, the Dong Hoi Airport reached 80% in passenger carriage in the first half of this year.
This is a high rate in passenger carriage in comparison with other domestic airports of the country in the past time. Putting into operation with two air routes of Ha Noi and Ho Chi Minh, the Dong Hoi Airport meets the people's demand for traveling; bring Quang Binh province and the country's two biggest centers closer together, contributing to socio-economic development of the province.
Along with the air transport, the sea transport and activities of seaport have achieved a fair growth, like the Hon La Port reached 125% of its capacity.
