Delegation of Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee: paid tribute to Ba Doc martyrs' cemetery and visited policy families

(Quang Binh Website) - On the occasion of the 64th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs’ Day (July 27 1947 - July 27 2011), the delegation of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee (VFFCC) led by Chairman Huynh Dam on July 26 visited and laid a wreath of flowers in tribute of heroic martyrs at the Ba Doc martyrs’ cemetery.

The delegation burnt incenses at the tombs in memory of heroic martyrs who had sacrificed their lives and contributed to the service of the nation during the past struggle for national independence and freedom.

On this occasion, the delegation also paid a visit and presented gifts to Vietnamese heroic mothers (Nguyen Thi Thiec, 102 years old, in Duc Thuy village, Duc Ninh commune and Ha Thi Vien, 89 years old, in sector No.7, Dong Phu ward); martyrs’ families (Mrs. Nguyen Thi Le, 78 years old, in sector No.2, Dong Son ward and Mrs. Nguyen Thi Tru, 70 years old, in sector No.10, Nam Ly ward) and wounded soldier Nguyen Van Hieu, 52 years old, in Nam Phu village, Quang Phuc commune.

At the visits, VFFCC Chairman Huynh Dam expressed his deep gratitude to the great sacrifices of Vietnamese heroic mothers, families of invalids and martyrs credited with the national revolutionary services.

The comrade also extended her best regards to Vietnamese heroic mothers, families of invalids and martyrs and hoped that they would continue to educate young generation to uphold revolutionary tradition in the cause of building and protecting the nation.
