The master plan for socio-economic development of Dong Hoi city through 2020 includes three main parts namely the factors, conditions, real situation for socio-economic development of Dong Hoi city; orientations for socio-economic development of Dong Hoi city through 2020, and solutions to implement the master plan.

Major objective of the plan is to make effective use of all potentials and advantages in tourism, service, high-tech agriculture, construction of infrastructure and urban development, contributing to meeting socio-economic development tasks until 2020.

Speaking at the meeting, Chairman Nguyen Huu Hoai asked consultants and relevant units to collect contributions and perfect the master plan for socio-economic development through 2020.

All levels and agencies should try their best to fulfill the socio-economic development tasks until 2020 and actively take specific measures to well implement the master plan, said Chairman.

Dong Hoi city should check some socio-economic targets to supplement in the plan; define investment in infrastructure development as a key breakthrough and pay more attention to development of service, especially tourism service with high quality, stressed Chairman.
