Receiving and working with the delegation were Mr. Hoang Dang Quang, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Quang Binh province; Mr. Tran Tien Dung, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee together with representatives of related agencies and localities.

On behalf of provincial leader, Mr. Hoang Dang Quang briefly introduced about achievements in socio-economic development of the province and affirmed great contributions made by international community, especially assistance from Australia.

He hoped that the visit would create cooperative opportunities in many fields such as economy, education, tourism - services between Quang Binh and Australian cities and provinces.

The visit would boost comprehensive relation between two sides to call for investment projects from Australia, he said.

At the reception, President of the Legislative Council of WA thanked for warm welcome of the province and affirmed that the Australian authority will boost multi-sided cooperative relationship with Quang Binh. He promised to assign cave experts to share experience in management and exploitation.

On the same day, the delegation from Parliament of Western Australia paid a visit to survey tourism destinations at the Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Park.
