Vice Chairman of Provincial People's Committee Tran Tien Dung receives former Director of MAG in Vietnam

 (Quang Binh Portal) - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People"s Committee Tran Tien Dung has recently received Mr. Bekim Shala, former Director of MAG (Mines Advisory Group) in Vietnam and Mr. Simon Rea, new Director of MAG in Vietnam. Attending the reception was representatives of the Office of the Provincial People"s Committee, the Department of Foreign Affairs and the Provincial Headquarter of Military.

At the reception, Mr. Bekim Shala sent New Year greetings to the authorities and people of Quang Binh as well as thanked for cooperation and assistances of the province to MAG Vietnam in general and MAG Quang Binh project in particular in the past time, contributing to helping MAG achieve remarkable results in its operational duration in Vietnam.

Quang Binh is one of the provinces that have the largest mine-polluted area in the country and MAG program in Quang Binh is also one of the programs that have achieved the highest effectiveness in comparison with other localities, he added.


Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee granted flowers to former country director of MAG

On behalf of provincial leaders, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee highly appreciated and thanked Mr. Bekim Shala for his contributions to overcoming consequences of landmines after the war in the province in the position of a country director of MAG.

Vice Chairman sent a wish to former country director of MAG in Vietnam for many successes in a new position in Myanmar and hoped that Mr. Bekim Shala would continue assisting and sharing his experience in implementing MAG Vietnam program in general and MAG Quang Binh project in particular.

On this occasion, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee presented flowers to congratulate Mr. Simon Rea, new director of MAG Vietnam and believed that with his precious experience in overcoming consequences of landmines in Laos, Quang Binh would receive effective cooperation in the forthcoming time.
