In 2008, the Provincial People's Committee made a Decision to recognize and grant the certificate of recognition to five traditional trade villages, including: Tho Don knit, Quy Hau palm-leaf conical hat, Ha Thon palm-leaf conical hat, Tuy Loc wine, Mai Hong forge and ten trade villages meeting the standards. The above trade villages made a big contribution to solving jobs and increasing income for the farmers. According to the plan of 2010, the Provincial People's Committee will consider and recognize about six traditional trade villages; organize and restore four traditional trade villages. This is an opportunity to maintain and preserve the age-old traditional trade villages, encourage the trade villages in promoting the strengths, creating high-quality products, meeting the demand for consumption in the province and for export abroad.
