Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam donates VND1 billion to delete thatched cottages for the poor

(Quang Binh Website) - The Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam has recently given a support of VND1 billion to delete thatched cottages for 120 poor households in Hong Hoa commune, Minh Hoa district. Attending the ceremony was Vice-chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Dang together with representative of related departments and branches.

Hong Hoa is one of the poorest communes of Minh Hoa district; the people's life meets many difficulties; rate of poor households accounts for nearly 70% of its population; average income was 185 thousand/month a person. This gift of the Vietnam Bank for Investment and Development has a great significant to the poor, contributing to help them reduce difficulties to escape poverty and stabilize the life.

Addressing the ceremony, Vice-chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Dang expressed his heartfelt thanks to the assistance of the Vietnam Bank for Investment and Development, concurrently hoped that local authority will quickly hand over this donation to poor households to help them resume their life and develop economy.
