The goal of the Resolution No.30a is to create a big change in the spiritual and material life for the poor and ethnic minority people under the poor districts; to support for sustainable agricultural and forestry production development towards producing commodities and making full use of the localities' strengths; to build socio-economic infrastructure in accordance with the situation of each locality; to shift economic structure and production models effectively according to the master plan; to build a stable rural society, bring into play national cultural character, improve the cultural standards of the people, protect ecological environment and consolidate national defence and security.

The meeting approved the draft plan of the Provincial People's Committee on the implementation of Resolution No.30a of the Government, including guideline of building socio-economic development plan for speedy and sustainable poverty reduction in Minh Hoa district for 2009-2020 period (Department of Planning and Investment); guideline of implementing Decision No.167 of Prime Minister on the support policy for poor household on houses (Department of Construction); guideline of agro-forestry-fishery production plan and residential allocation; guideline of implementation of the agro-forestry-fishery production support policy according to Resolution No.30a of the Government (Department of Agriculture and Rural Development)...

Giving a closing speech, Province Vice-chairperson Tran Cong Thuat asked departments and branch to base oneself on the Resolution No.30a to instruct Minh Hoa district to build the speedy and sustainable poverty reduction plan; concurrently mobilize all resources from the State, society and organizations together with the people's great effort to make full use of potentials and advantages of the locality so as to create more jobs, improve income, promote the economic development of each locality. Besides, the district should give top priority to key projects, contributing to implement the success of the planned targets.
