Wutip aftermath: DPM visits Quang Binh province

Mr. Hai asked local authorities to promptly summarize the damage, search for the missing people, and assist victims who have lost family members and houses.
Healthcare institutions were urged to quickly recover to ensure emergency aid and treatment for the injured and timely carry out sanitation and cleansing works.
So far, five people were found dead and 140 others were injured. Two are still missing.
Asset and property losses amounted to VND 4.5 trillion (US$ 210 million) of which 350 houses were collapsed; over 150,000 others and hundreds of schools and medical stations were blown off, and over 100 fishing vessels were submerged.
Other provinces such as Ha Tinh and Nghe An also suffered from damages.
The same day, the Viet Nam Red Cross pledged to provide financial assistance for families that lost members in the typhoon.
