At the conference, Director of Tourism Department Ho An Phong informed some contents on tourism development results in the past time and orient some main tasks and solutions on tourism development in the upcoming time.

Accordingly, Quang Binh's targets are to develop tourism into a key economic sector of the province in the 2016-2020 period; achieve the average growth rate of 12% - 15% a year.

By 2020, Quang Binh will welcome 5.5 million visitors, reach VND 6,958 billion in total turnover from tourism, contribute VND 600 billion to State budget; reach 350 accommodation establishments with 12,000 rooms, including 20 three star hotels and over; tourism sector accounts for 12%, services and tourism account for 52% in a total of GRDP, etc.

In order to achieve above targets, tourism sector should have many solutions to improve the community's awareness of tourism development; diversify tourism products; speed up tourism promotion activities; train and develop human resources for tourism; strengthen work of planning and investment incentives; mobilise all resources for tourism development, etc.

Also at the meeting, the delegates were informed some information on the recent national and international news and orientations for tourism development in the upcoming time.
