PM Nguyen Xuan Phuc visits and presents gifts to heroic Vietnamese mothers
The delegation was accompanied by Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Hoang Dang Quang, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Huu Hoai together with leaders of related departments and branches.
Accordingly, the delegation visited heroic Vietnamese mother Pham Thi Dit, age 100, in Dong Phu ward; and heroic Vietnamese mother Nguyen Thi Cuc, age 94, in Hai Thanh ward, Dong Hoi city.
At the visits, Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc graciously inquired about the health, presented gifts and expressed his deep gratitude to heroic Vietnamese mothers who made many great contributions to the cause of national liberation. He wants them to uphold revolutionary tradition and further encourage their descendants to make more contributions to the national cause of construction and defence.
Prime Minister also asked leaders of Quang Binh province and local authorities to pay more attention to supporting people with great contributions to the Vietnam revolution in the locality, especially heroic Vietnamese mothers.
