Cao Van Hieu is an orphan student who has an especially-difficult circumstance but studies well at school. At present, Cao Van Hieu is a final-year student of the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Technology - Quang Binh University with many brilliant achievements in his study. Cao Van Hieu was given Vallet scholarship in the academic year of 2007-2008 and other scholarships which were granted to outstanding but poor students in the provincial area.

Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee grants gift of State Vice President Nguyen Thi Doan to Cao Van Hieu

At the ceremony, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Luong Ngoc Binh granted a gift, including a scholarship worth VND5 million of State Vice President Nguyen Thi Doan together with two T-shirts and a schoolbag of the Presidential Office, to Cao Van Hieu. This gift is a great encouragement to Cao Van Hieu in particular and the outstanding but poor students of Quang Binh province in general, expressing the concern of the State to young generations of Quang Binh, especially typical examples for study.

Addressing the ceremony, Cao Van Hieu expressed his deep gratitude to the concern of State Vice President Nguyen Thi Doan and promised that he would try his best to study well and become a useful citizen for the society.
