At the working, Professor Goze Bertin Benie, University of Sherbrooke (Canada) informed of the project appraisement result from the Government of Canada and the plan for field work, and discussed about the plan for project implementation.

Under the plan, the project "Application of remote-sensing technology for tourism planning in Phong Nha - Ke Bang area" and training cooperation with the University of Quang Binh is carried out within three years with total invested capital of approximately VND5 billion.
The project's objective is to assist the schools and localities in high-tech application, to strengthen exchange between the schools and to provide some equipment to serve for education.
Addressing the working, Vice-chairman Nguyen Dang expressed his thanks to the University of Sherbrooke and highly appraised the mission's effort in calling for the fund from the Government of Canada. Vice-chairman affirmed that the People's Committee of Quang Binh province will create all favorable conditions to implement the project as the scheduled plan.
