German Embassy in Ha Noi pays a working visit to Quang Binh

(Quang Binh Website) - On May 27, the mission of the German Embassy in Ha Noi led by Dr Henning Plate, the Development Counsellor at the German Embassy in Hanoi paid a working visit to Quang Binh. Receiving and working with the mission were Standing Vice-chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Xuan Quang and relevant agencies.

At the working session, Dr.Henning Plate said that his working visit to Quang Binh aimed to learn about the implementation of the Phong Nha - Ke Bang region project. This is one of key projects of Germany in Quang Binh to contribute to conserve and uphold values of world natural heritage site, Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Park, and boost friendships between Germany and Vietnam.

In the future, Dr. Henning Plate expressed his hope that the Provincial People's Committee would continue to coordinate with the organizations to implement the master plan for buffer zone development in Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Park.

Speaking at the working session, Standing Vice-chairman expressed his pleasures to the working visit of the mission of the German Embassy in Ha Noi and highly valued investment cooperation of German government in Quang Binh, especially the project in buffer zone of the Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Park. This is a significant project to ecotourism development in the region, contributing to conserving ecological diversity of Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Park, increasing awareness and improving living standards for local people.

Standing Vice-chairman stressed that the Provincial People's Committee would focus on directing and creating all favorable conditions for the project of sustainable development of natural resources in Phong Nha - Ke Bang area to accelerate the project implementation progress.

Vice-chairman also expressed his hope that Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Park - world natural heritage site would be broadcasted on the media to attract more foreign and domestic tourists.
