Improve capacities for flood prevention in river valleys until 2030
(Quang Binh Portal) - The Provincial People"s Committee on October 21 issued Decision No.2946/QD-UBND approving the plan on flood control in the valleys of Gianh River and Nhat Le River in the 2016-2030 period.

The plan aims to improve capacities for flood prevention in the valleys of Gianh River and Nhat Le River, helping implementation of the targets of the National Strategy for Natural Disaster Prevention, Response and Mitigation to 2020, approved at Decision No. 172/2007/QD-TTg dated 16 November 2007 by the Prime Minister.
Estimated, total investment for the project is VND3,269 billion which is collected from soure of central and local capital, ODA loans, non-refundable aids, donations from international organizations, contributions from people and enterprises, and other legal mobilization.
Duration for implementation of the project is expected from 2016 to 2030.
