Chairman Phan Lam Phuong delivers a speech at the anniversary

At the anniversary, Chairman Phan Lam Phuong made an opening speech and praised the great achievements that Quang Binh people obtained in the socio-economic development and reinforcing security and national defence. He stressed that: Bring into play the patriotic tradition, the spirit of undaunted struggle of "two good" motherland of Quang Binh; continue to promote the propaganda and respond for patriotic emulation movement, contributing to improving the awareness and responsibility of organizations and individuals for the role and effect of patriotic emulation movement in the cause of building and protecting the Fatherland; colsely coordinate between emulation and reward to promote the socio-economic development. Organize and study President Ho Chi Minh's thought of patriotic emulation, actively deploy the movement of studying and following the moral example of Ho Chi Minh; strength education, improve the quality and ability of the officials and party members; actively fight against corruption, wastefulness and negative manifestations. Concurrently, each individual and party member should made great effort to realize the province's socio-economic development targets of 2008 and the 5-year plan (2006-2010) according to the Resolution adopted by the 14th Party Congress.

Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Phan Lam Phuong grants Emulation Flag to the excellent collectives

On behalf of Quang Binh youths, Secretary of the Province Group Ho An Phong delivered a speech and appealed Quang Binh youths to continuously try their best to study and follow the moral example of Ho Chi Minh, contributing to building a more and more democratic, civilized and prosperous society.

With obtained results over the past years, Quang Binh province was awarded the Gold Star Medal of the State President on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's call for patriotic emulation and patriotic emulation day (June 11th 1948 - June 11the 2008).

On this occasion, under the authority of the Prime Minister, Chairman Phan Lam Phuong granted the Emulation Flag of the Government to 8 excellent collectives who obtained great achievements in the province's patriotic emulation movement of 2007.
