Grant 80 wheelchairs to disabled people in Quang Binh

(Quang Binh Website) – The Quang Binh Sponsor Association for Poor Patients in collaboration with the HCM City Sponsor Association for Poor Patients and Latter–Day Saint Charities on November 10 held a ceremony to award wheelchairs to disabled people in Quang Binh province.

Vice-chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Nguyen Dang; representatives of Latter-Day Saint Charities; leaders of the Sponsor Association for Poor Patients of Ho Chi Minh City and Quang Binh province together with representatives of related departments and branches attended the ceremony.

At the ceremony, representative of Latter-Day Saint Charities granted 80 wheelchairs and VND200,000 for traveling fee to disabled people in Quang Binh province. This is meaningful gift to help disabled people overcome difficulties to fall in line with the community.

Wheelchairs were awarded to disabled people at the ceremony

It is known that this is the activity under the Program “Wheelchair for poor disabled people” launched by the HCM City Sponsor Association for Poor Patients through the fund of Latter-Day Saint Charities. After 12 years of organization, the Program has granted 5,450 wheelchairs to poor disabled people throughout the country.
