The 19th North Central Art photography festival opens
(Quang Binh Website) - The 19th art photography festival of the north central region entitled "Country and people of north central region in the cause of building and defending the fatherland" was held in Nghe An province on September 10.
The festival has been organised by the Vietnam Photographic Artists’ Association, in collaboration with the Nghe An Fine Arts & Literature Association.
On show are more than 1,075 images by 175 photographers from the six north central provinces of Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, Ha Tinh, Quang Binh, Quang Tri and Thua Thien Hue.
The photos showcase the natural beauty and diverse cultures of people in the north central region.
The jury board has selected 150 of the best photos at the exhibition, and awarded first, second, third prizes, as well as five consolation prizes, to 11 excellent photos.
