State-run group supports natural disaster victims
The Vietnam National Oil and Gas Group (PetroVietnam) has sent relief to victims in provinces hit by recent natural disasters.
Particularly, through local Red Cross associations, the group gave VND 300 million to Thanh Hoa, VND 200 million each to Ha Tinh and Nghe An, VND 100 million to Quang Binh and 80 million to Yen Bai.
In addition, the Petro Vietnam Fertilizer and Chemicals Corporation (PVFCCo) inquired after and offered VND 2 million in cash to each of 14 families in Thanh Hoa and Nghe An who lost relatives in the flooding.
It is a meaningful activity by employees in the oil and gas sector to help disaster victims overcome their difficulties.
