The Swimming for Safety Project is funded by GWHF and has been carried out by the Department of Education and Training since 2014. Through the introduction of GWHF, Mr. Kevin Jerome Espirito and Ms. Bethany Joy Kreitl volunteer to support implementation of the project in Quang Binh through consultative activities to improve the project's quality and mobilize to raise a fund for project development.

At the meeting, Mr. Stephen Ball thanked the DFA and the departments concerned of Quang Binh province for facilitating their volunteers working in Quang Binh. On schedule, two volunteers will work in Quang Binh province for 10 months.

Speaking at the meeting, Director of the DFA Hoang Xuan Tan briefly introduced some general information on Quang Binh province and suggested Mr. Kevin Jerome Espirito and Ms. Bethany Joy Kreitl to have a working plan with local departments and localities of the province and mobilise source of grants to conduct the programs and projects in Quang Binh.

The DFA pledged to create all favorable conditions for Mr. Kevin Jerome Espirito and Ms. Bethany Joy Kreitl to work in Quang Binh according to the regulations.
