Scholarships granted to poor students
The scholarships funded by Zhishan Foundation have been granted to students who have especially difficult circumstances in Quang Binh province over the past ten years.
This is the second phase the Quang Binh Provncial Children Sponsoring Fund in coordination with Zhishan Foundation has granted scholarships to poor students in Quang Binh province in 2015.
Apart from scholarships, Zhishan Foundation also presented gifts worth 500,000 VND each for poor students to encourage and help them have a better condition for studying in the new academic year.
In addition, outstanding and poor students were also awarded money worth 50,000 to 500,000 VND each for their excellent achievements in studying.
On the occasion, students drew a New Year greetings card to express their gratitude to the sponsor on the Lunar New Year.
