Chairman of the provincial People's Committee speaks at the meeting

In 2012, there were 17 investment registration projects in industrial parks with a total registered capital of over VND2,000 billion, of which newly licensed 17 certificate of investment. The total turnover was estimated reaching VND1,700 billion, reached 135% against the year 2011; import-export turnover reached USD487 million, reached 258%. The enterprises in economic zones and industrial parks paid about VND213.5 billion in tax, reached 102%. The industrial parks and economic zones attracted 2,620 laborers, increased 307 laborers.

In 2013, the Management Board of Economic Zone will focus on implementing some key projects in industrial parks and economic zones; strengthening management of construction investment and maintenance of technical infrastructures in economic zones and industrial parks; speeding up investment promotion and effectively implementing State management on economic zones and industrial parks.

Speaking at the meeting, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee asked the Management Board of Economic Zones to continuously invest in building system of technical infrastructure; strongly improve investment environment to call upon and draw investors; strengthen the management board of economic zones and work of state management on operations of economic zones and industrial parks.

... and grants Certificate of Merit to excellent collectives and individuals

On this occasion, the provincial People's Committee awarded the "Excellent Labor Collective" title to 03 collectives; Chairman of the provincial People's Committee granted Certificate of Merit to 02 collectives and 05 individuals; Head of the Management Board of Economic Zones of Quang Binh province also presented the titles, commended and rewarded to collectives and individuals for their excellent achievements in 2012.
