Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee delivers a speech at the meeting

In 2012, industrial and commercial production has still remained a growth rate as compared with 2011. Industrial production value reached VND4,415 billion, up 9.1%. Of which, some products have a fair growth rate, such as clinker (up 117.8%), cassava (up 47.8%) and tap-water (up 23.2%). The total retail sales of goods and services reached VND14,006 billion, up 16.8%, export turnover reached USD126 million and import turnover reached USD37 million.

In 2013, the industrial and commercial sector expects to reach industrial production value of VND7,965 billion, increased by 9.5% against 2012; density of GDP in industry - construction makes up 36.5% and services 42.5%; the total retail turnover of goods and services reaches VND17,000 billion, up 21.4%; export turnover reaches US135 million and import turnover reaches USD50 million.

Delivering a speech at the meeting, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee highly appreciated the endeavors of the sector and gave some specific solutions to successfully implement its tasks for 2013.

On this occasion, the provincial People's Committee and the Department of Industry and Trade awarded Certificate of Merit to collectives and individuals for their excellent achievements.
