This is an opportunity for the Party Committee and people of Le Thuy and Quang Ninh districts to review the years of building Le Ninh district and to appreciate obtained results after 20 years of developing in order to continue to speed up the cause of industrialization and modernization, bring Le Thuy – Quang Ninh become more and more wealthy and civilized.

Attending the anniversary were Mr. Dang Van Hoan, member of the Provincial Standing Party Committee (PPC), Head of Department of Propaganda and Training of the PPC; Mr. Mai Xuan Thu, member of the PPC, Head of Public Relations of the PPC; Mr. Nguyen Dang, Vice-chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee; heroic Vietnamese mothers; hero of the people's armed forces and representatives of departments and branches at the provincial and district levels.

Le Thuy district was separated from Le Ninh district on July 1st, 1990. After over 20 years of building and developing, the Party Committee and people of Le Thuy district has made a united effort and fully taped its potentials and strengths in all fields, striving for building Le Thuy district more and more developed. From a low developed economy, Le Thuy district’s economy has so far remained a fair growth rate with over 11% a year on average; total food output has reached 86,000 tonnes in 2010 (in comparison with 23,198 tonnes in 1990). National defence and security have been consolidated; a lot big changes have been seen in cultural and social fields; the people’s life has been improved step by step…

Mr. Dang Van Hoan speaks at the anniversary

Speaking at the anniversary, Mr. Dang Van Hoan warmly commended and acknowledged the achievements that the Party Committee and people of Le Thuy district obtained in the past 20 years and highlighted that in order to successfully implement its targets and tasks in the coming time, the Party Committee and people of Le Thuy district need to speed up the development of industry, handicrafts and rural careers; continue to educate the political thought for the whole people, especially young generation to bring into play their patriotic tradition; direct and organize the implementation of following steps of the Campaign “Studying and following moral example of Ho Chi Minh” in association with patriotic emulation movements. Mr. Dang Van Hoan also expressed his hope that in the next time, the Party Committee and people of Le Thuy district will continue to unite, overcome shortcomings, success on the road of integration and development and strive to build Le Thuy become a wealthy and strong district.
