On behalf of the provincial leadership, Vice Chairman Hoang Xuan Tan provided an overview of the province’s socio-economic situation, as well as its development potential and orientations for the coming period. He also shared information on citizens of Quang Tri going abroad for various purposes such as employment, study, tourism, and family visits. Among them, more than 37,000 workers are currently employed overseas under fixed-term contracts, and over 1,500 students are studying abroad. Alongside these positive results, Vice Chairman Hoang Xuan Tan noted that illegal brokerage activities still exist and the risk of irregular migration remains. The province has therefore implemented various measures and strictly handled violations related to illegal migration.
