Drill on using solar energy for cadres in the province
At the training course, representative of the Ho Chi Minh City Institute of Physics introduced some basic contents on solar energy; equipments of solar power system, materials for installation; technical character of solar batteries; technology of solar batteries; solar power system for collectives and household; structure, installation, operation and maintenance of equipment in mountainous areas where the ethnic minority groups are living. Besides studying lessons in theory, trainees were also practised installation and use for solar power.
It is known that the project to supply solar power for 10 far-flung and remote communes, invested by the Department of Industry and Trade, will be expected to complete in 2020. Once to be operational, the project will contribute to poverty alleviation and promoting socio-economic development in far-flung and remote areas.
