The overseas Vietnamese community and 5H Organization shares difficulties with flood hit people in Quang Binh

On behalf of the provincial leaders, Permanent Vice-chairman Tran Cong Thuat briefly informed of great losses that flood hit people in Quang Binh had suffered from the past two historical floods. Vice-chairman also expressed his thanks to the assistance of the overseas Vietnamese, contributing to helping flood hit people in Quang Binh quickly resume their life.
After the working, the mission paid a visit and granted gifts to flood hit people in four communes of Quang Hoa and Quang Minh (Quang Trach), Chau Hoa and Mai Hoa (Tuyen Hoa). At the communes, the overseas Vietnamese community and 5H Organization provided 38.3 tonnes of rice and 20 gifts (including instant noodles, drinking water, studying aids and VND300,000); 8,000 notebooks and 1,000 pens to the flood hit victims.
