640 scholarships granted to poor students in Quang Binh
(Quang Binh Website) - From August 21st to 24th, the Study Promotion Society of Quang Binh province and the East Meets West Foundation (EMW) have granted 640 scholarships to poor students in the province.
Each scholarship for secondary school students is worth VND1.6 million, including textbooks, learning tools, school bags and insurance money and fees for the school year.
Each scholarship for high school students is worth from VND1.6 million to VND16 million for a year, depending on the study ability of each student.
Since 2004, the East Meets West Foundation has committed to provide a scholarship support to 4th-12th grade students who come from poor households in some communes of four districts in the province.
