Photograpny exhibition marks General Giap’s 102nd birthday
A photography exhibition featuring the life and career of legendary General Vo Nguyen Giap opened yesterday in his hometown in Le Thuy district, in the central province of Quang Binh to mark his 102nd birthday (August 25, 1911-2012).
The exhibition displays 200 photographs and documents related to General Vo Nguyen Giap, an outstanding student of President Ho Chi Minh and the Elder Brother of the Vietnam People’s Army who is beloved and admired by people nationwide, as well as international friends.
The exhibition, co-organised by the Quang Binh provincial Museum and the Le Thuy district Cultural Centre, will last until September 10.
