Signing ceremony of consulative service package between the provincial management board of solar energy supply project and the joint venture contractors of Dohwa-Kunhwa-Hanjo (South Korea)

Implementing Decision No.723/QD-UBND dated April 4, 2012 of Chairman of the provincial People's Committee on approving the bidding plan for the solar energy supply project for villages of 10 communes in remote and mountainous areas of Quang Binh province, the project management board carried out necessary procedures for consultative service package according to the regulations on international bidding law and Vietnam law.

On the basis of appraisement of the bidding results of the Department of Planning and Investment, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee made a Decision No.1613/QD-CT dated July 16, 2012 on ratifying the bidding result for consultative service package. Accordingly, the successful tenderer was the joint-venture contractors of Dohwa-Kunhwa-Hanjo.

In parallel with the bidding, the province in coordination with the Vietnam government, Central ministries and agencies and the Export-Import Bank of Korea (Korea Eximbank) has carried out procedures to announce the effectiveness of loan agreement to fund a solar energy supply project. After a time for negotiations, the project management board and joint-venture contractors has completed contract for package and carried out the signing ceremony.
