A meeting to discuss the detailed planning on memorial complex of late President Ho Chi Minh statue

 (Quang Binh Portal) - On November 21st, the Provincial People"s Committee held a meeting to discuss the detailed planning on memorial complex of late President Ho Chi Minh statue. Chairman of the Provincial People"s Committee Nguyen Huu Hoai chaired the meeting.

The project is assigned to the Department of Construction as an investor and the Institute of Construction Planning as a consulting unit.

Accordingly, the project is planned and arranged symmetrically. The square area is located in the front; a statue complex of Uncle Ho and Quang Binh People in the middle, a memorial temple of heros and martyrs, technical house, verdure, parks and grass hill in the behind.

At the meeting, leaders of related departments and branches discussed and contributed their ideas to spacial organisation, landscape architecture, solutions for water drainage, environmental sanitation, electric system, traffic, etc, aiming to improve the memorial complex of President Ho Chi Minh statue.

Speaking at the meeting, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee stressed that the memorial complex of President Ho Chi Minh statue plays an important role in educating revolutionary tradition, respecting the life and revolutionary cause of President Ho Chi Minh. It also makes a great significance to the spiritual life of Quang Binh People, education of Ho Chi Minh's thoughts to all people, especially young generation, expressing the love and deep gratitude of the entire Party, army and people to President Ho Chi Minh.

Therefore, Chairman asked the consulting unit to adjust the detailed planning in line with the master plan on socio-economic development of the province.

In addition, Chairman also asked the Department of Construction and consulting unit to collect contributions to supplement the planning as well as receive the experts' advices before reporting to the Standing Board of the Provincial Party Committee.
