An live art program to mark 45th anniversary of heroes and martyrs' sacrifices in Tam Co Cave and Road 20-Quyet Thang

Delegates attended the program
The event was jointly organised by the Provincial People's Committee and the Radio the Voice of Vietnam (VOV). The program was live broadcast on the channels of VOV and VTC, Quang Binh Television and many local televisions across the country.
The event was attended by the VOV's Director General of the Radio, Mr Nguyen The Ky, Minister of Culture, Sport and Tourism Nguyen Ngoc Thien, Deputy Minister of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs Le Tan Dung.
On the side of Quang Binh province, there were Secretary of the Provincial Party's Committee Hoang Dang Quang, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Huu Hoai together with members of the Provincial Party's Committee, People's Council and People's Committee; representatives of related agencies and localities, relatives of martyrs who sacrificed their lives in Tam Co Cave and others.

Presenting gifts to relatives of martyrs
The art program included two parts: memorial ceremony and war recollection which were performed by many artists from Hanoi, Thanh Hoa, Nam Dinh, Hue and Quang Binh.
The program reminded of the brave sacrifices of young volunteers of the Company 217, Board of Construction 67, Crops No.559 at Km 16 on the Road 20 - Quyet Thang on November 14th, 1972.

The sacrifices of heroes and martyrs have touched millions of Vietnamese heart as well as world peace lovers, that inspires generations of youth volunteers to the front line, dedicate themselves for the national liberation and reunification of the country.
This was an opportunity for people and visitors to visit and commemorate the heroic martyrs who sacrificed at Hang Tam Co and Road 20 Quyet Thang.

Delegates offered incense in tribute to heroes and martyrs
Closing the program, delegates and local people burnt incense in commemoration of heroes and martyrs who lied down for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland.
