A meeting to respond the International Day for Biological Diversity
With the theme "Water and Biodiversity", the International Day for Biological Diversity 2013 was held in Son Trach commune, Bo Trach district to help young generations and youths of the heritage area in particular and of the province in general increase understanding and awareness of biodiversity issues and improve their responsibility in conservation of biodiversity and unique values of world natural heritage - Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Park.
Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Park is home of more than 2,650 vascular plant species, 848 vertebrate species and 369 insects. It is evaluated as one of the 238 biodiversity centers of the world and 2 of 60 important bird areas of Vietnam.
After the cereIn response to the International Day for Biological Diversity, 150 youths of Son Trach commune paraded and cleaned the surroundings of Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Park region.
